| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | The Quarry Park Amphitheater Back Stage Lift project was included in the FY 18/19 Capital Project and was approved for $20,000, budgeted in the Lease Revenue Bond Fund (311). During evaluation of contracting out concert management services at Quarry Park, it was determined that the Quarry Park Amphitheater Back Stage Lift project needs to be moved from the Lease Revenue Bond Fund (311) to the Capital Construction Tax Fund (304). In addition to the request to move funds, an additional appropriation of $25,000 is being requested for increased costs and additional items in the scope of work of the project. The Quarry Park Amphitheater Back Stage Lift project and equipment will help attract parties and partnerships to Quarry Park and the Quarry Park district for years to come. This project will also decrease production and labor costs for all future events.
We are projecting this project to be finished in FY 18/19 if approval is granted. At this time, staff is requesting to move $20,000 of budgeted monies from fund 311 to fund 304 and staff is requesting an additional appropriation of $25,000 to complete this project.

| | | | | | | | | Fiscal Impact: | A fiscal analysis of this purchase has been completed by the Department Head and approved by the City’s Finance Division. The direct fiscal impact will be an increase in capital expenditures for fiscal year 2018/2019 of $25,000 The table below illustrates the costs of the requested appropriation increase on the Capital Construction Tax Fund account and the decrease on the Lease Revenue Bond Fund account impacted by this request. A budget amendment will be brought to Council for separate approval at year end.
