The Placer Mosquito & Vector Control District Board of Trustees are appointed by the City/Town Councils and the Board of Supervisors in Placer County. Once appointed, trustees represent all residents in Placer County and serve either a two year or four year term.

Councilmember Gayaldo's term on the Placer Mosquito & Vector Control District Board concludes December 2019. The Placer Mosquito & Vector Control District has recommended the reappointment of Trustee Jill Gayaldo. The Council may recommend the length of term to be either two  years or four years.  Historically, the typical term appointment has been two years.
