With emergency declarations made by the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of California, Placer County, and the City Council of the City of Rocklin regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, the City of Rocklin becomes eligible for state and federal disaster financial assistance in dealing with the COVID-19 emergency.
To be eligible for assistance, a properly executed and certified California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Form 130, Designation of Applicant’s Agent Resolution for Non-State Agencies, must be on file with Cal OES. (Exhibit A of Resolution)
The Cal OES Form 130 will authorize the City Manager, Assistant City Manger Chief Financial Officer, or Finance Manager to execute documents needed to obtain state and/or federal financial assistance. The resolution is considered a “universal resolution” which will set forth the authorized agents for the City for all current and future events and will be active for 3 years.
