Staff Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as the Ranch View Drive Road Resurfacing Project, Approving the Notice of Completion Thereof, and Authorizing the Execution and Recordation of Said Notice on Behalf of the City.


BACKGROUND:

On March 10, 2020, Resolution 2020-44, Council awarded the contract for the Ranch View Drive Road Resurfacing Project to American Pavement System Inc.. The Project was included in both the 2020-2025 CIP and FY 19-20 budget, and consisted of road resurfacing along Ranch View Drive and Spring Creek Drive (Exhibit A). The contract  amount for the Project was $163,096, and Council authorized change order authority at 15% of the contract amount ($24,464) for a total amount of $187,560.

 

This project came in under budget at $160,364. No change orders were issued on this project and it was completed on Monday, May 18, 2020. 

 


Fiscal Impact:

This project came in under budget and is funded using Street Maintenance Reserve (120) dollars. The amounts noted in this request are included in the budget plus any additional appropriations as approved by Council.
