| | | | | | | | Staff Recommendation: | Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as Stormwater Pipe Replacement Project, Approving the Notice of Completion Thereof, and Authorizing the Execution and Recordation of Said Notice on Behalf of the City (SAK Construction, LLC).

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | On February 11, 2020, Resolution 2020-24 - Stormwater Pipe Replacement Project was approved by the City Council and included in both the 2020-2025 CIP and FY 19-20 budget. This project consisted of lining existing storm drain pipes, which is a specialized process. SAK Construction, Inc., a local vendor, performs this type of pipe sleeving /repair and is very familiar with the City’s storm drain system, was awarded the contract. The not to exceed amount of the contract was $150,000, and the City Manager was given change order authority of 15% of the contract amount $22,500, for a total authorized expenditure of $172,500 (Reso. 2020-24). No change orders were issued and the project came in at the original budget amount of $150,000. This project was completed on June 18, 2020.

| | | | | | | | Fiscal Impact: | This project came on budget and is funded using the Street Maintenance Reserve Funds (120) dollars. The amounts noted in this request are included in the budget plus any additional appropriations as approved by Council.
