Senate Bill 1205, enacting California Health and Safety Code section 13146.2 et seq., effective January 1, 2019, requires city and county fire departments to conduct certain inspections annually, and to report to its administering authority on an annual basis, the department's compliance. State law requires the City Council to acknowledge receipt of the report by resolution.
During Fiscal Year 2020/21, the Rocklin Fire Department conducted State mandated inspections of 21 Group E Occupancies (Exhibit A) and 51 Group R Occupancies (Exhibit B) in the City of Rocklin. The Rocklin Fire Department met the requirements of Health and Safety Code section 13146.2 and 13146.3 during Fiscal Year 2020/21.
