Chief Financial Officer Kimberly Sarkovich retired effective April 12, 2021, and Andrew Schiltz, Principal Management Analyst, was appointed as the interim City Treasurer by Resolution (2021-50) while a recruitment was being conducted for the Deputy Director of Administrative Services. Daniel Choe was chosen as the successful candidate for the Deputy Director of Administrative Services position, and has assumed the role effective August 16, 2021. Mr. Choe is qualified to perform the duties and responsibilities of the City Treasurer function. Therefore, it is recommended the City Council adopt the Resolution to appoint Daniel Choe, Deputy Director of Administrative Services, the City Treasurer for the City of Rocklin.
Should the City Council adopt said Resolution, Andrew Schlitz's temporary pay upgrade associated with the interim City Treasurer appointment shall be discontinued effective the pay period beginning August 28, 2021.
