Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Stating its Intention and Ordering Territory Detached from Rocklin Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 (Racetrack Subdivision, APN Nos. 045-090-004, 045-090-063)

On October 26, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution 2021-187, stating its intention to annex Racetrack Subdivision into Community Facilities District No. 5 (CFD No. 5). For a description of the property to be detached and annexed, see Exhibit "A." Racetrack Subdivision is also conditioned to Detach from Rocklin Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 (LMD No. 1), as street lighting services will be included in Community Facilities District No. 5.

A resolution detaching Racetrack from LMD No. 1 should have been included with the agenda item stating the City Council’s intention to annex the territory into CFD No. 5, but it was inadvertently omitted from the October 26, 2021 agenda packet. The resolution to detach Racetrack from LMD No. 1 is presented here for City Council adoption.
