Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Stating its Intention and Ordering Territory Detached from Rocklin Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 (Rocklin Meadows, located at Greenbrae and Aguilar Roads)

On December 14, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution 2021-224, stating its intention to annex Rocklin Meadows (located at Greenbrae and Aguilar Roads) into Community Facilities District No. 5 (CFD No. 5). Rocklin Meadows is also conditioned to Detach from Rocklin Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 (LMD No. 1), as street lighting services will be included in Community Facilities District No. 5.

A resolution detaching Rocklin Meadows from LMD No. 1 should have been included with the agenda item stating the City Council’s intention to annex the territory into CFD No. 5, but it was inadvertently omitted from the December 14, 2021 agenda packet. The resolution to detach Rocklin Meadows from LMD No. 1 is presented here for City Council adoption.
