Staff Recommendation:

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Adopting the Revised City Council Procedural Rules.
BACKGROUND:

At this time, staff recommends the City Council update the Procedural Rules to (1) modify Section 5.6, Order of Agenda, to reflect changes intended to streamline the number of City Council Meeting agenda categories; (2) update language various sections to align with Brown Act procedures and Robert's Rules of Order, and (3) make various non-substantive formatting changes throughout the document. Please see attached both the red-line version as well as the clean copy for reference.
